Cepifine (Confederation of European Fine Paper Industries) has published its European fine paper statistics. Coated woodfree grades declined by 7.4 per cent in September and amounted to 665 000 tonnes compared to the same month in 2010. Deliveries to Europe fell by 2.3 per cent, and to countries outside Europe by 23 per cent.
Deliveries of uncoated woodfree grades (UWF) fell by 2.8 per cent in September compared to the same period in 2010, while exports of UWF to countries outside Europe increased by 22 per cent.
