BTG will introduce the new SPK-5500 Single Point Kappa as well as the new Optical Bleach Plant at PulPaper 2014 exhibition.
The SPK-5500 is mounted directly to the pulp processing pipeline and measures continuously the kappa number of pulp suspensions. There is no need for remote pulp samplers, associated water valves and transport lines which are required for traditional kappa analyzers. The SPK-5500 provides kappa results at a much faster rate leading to better control of pulping and bleaching operations. With this device BTG complements its comprehensive product portfolio for fiberline applications.
