To mark the inaugural Paris Déco event in Paris, Tai Ping transformed its showroom into a trove of designer inspiration. Under the expert direction of designer Dominique Picquier, and employing the savoir-faire of a hand-picked group of luxury brands—Ateliers Charles Jouffre, Yves Delorme Palace, La Chambre by RHB and Tai Ping—the showroom emerged as something altogether new. La Suite parisienne.
In honour of the event, Picquier, who has collaborated with Tai Ping in the past, has re-imagined the Tai Ping showroom as an intimate residential space, an embodiment of the quintessential Parisian chic associated with
Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Fanciful and often surprising, the suite is guided by a constant principal: tailor-made luxury.
Stylist Aurélie des Robert was charged with executing Picquier's vision, selecting pieces from antique dealers and contemporary galleries alike. The entire space beckons with a seductive palette of blacks, deep plums, and voluptuous reds. Des Robert also worked closely with the Suite’s luxury partners. Ateliers Charles Jouffre upholsterers contributed textiles. The floor and wall are adorned with plush carpets, rugs and tapestries designed by Picquier for Tai Ping. A luxurious bed provided by Vi-Spring and covered in custom bedding by Yves Delorme Palace issues an irresistible invitation to dream.
