PMT Italia S.p.A. has appointed Tomas Anderson to the position of Manager for Global Tissue Sales as of March 1st 2011, his main task being to drive the growth of PMT tissue lines sales worldwide and secure PMT's continued excellent customer support.
Prior to his new position, Tomas Anderson graduated with an MSc degree in papermaking from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and started his career within the paper industry in 1997. Since then, he has held various positions within R&D, applications, sales management and coordination of integrated paper mill projects at different locations worldwide within the paper machinery manufacturing as well as business intelligence for graphical, specialty and tissue paper grades as technical marketing manager. Between 2008 and his new assignments with PMT, he was department manager within the forest industry market area of a leading Swedish process consultant, specialized in mechanical pulp, RCF, paper, board and tissue projects.
Tomas will bring his process, manufacturing and strategic experiences from the global paper industry and the machinery manufacturing side to PMT, focusing on the further development of its already established and renowned tissue line concept.
