CPI announces new Vice President

Will has worked for Paper manufacturer UPM UK since his appointment as General Manager UK, in June 2008. He joined CPI Council in September 2008, taking over from Kevin Lyden OBE, former Managing Director at UPM UK.

Will brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience having previously held the positions of Business General Manager, and Sales & Marketing Director, at International Paper’s European Division. Prior to that, Will was Managing Director for Scholastic Book Fairs UK, as well as having held senior roles with the Robert Horne Group.

The current President of CPI, Bob McLellan, is set to retire from the role at the end of 2011. Bob joined CPI Council in June 2003 and became CPI President in October 2008, taking over from Kevin Lyden.

David Workman said: "I am delighted that Will Oldham has been elected to the post of Vice President of CPI. Together with our President, Bob McLellan, they make a formidable team. We were always going to struggle to replace someone of Bob’s calibre, but in Will Oldham we have found someone who will continue to champion our industry both here in the UK, and in Europe. He will offer support to CPI in the invaluable work that it undertakes on behalf of the UK’s Paper and Paper-Related Industries".
