UPM present at Labelexpo

UPM is present at Labelexpo Europe 2011 held in Brussels on September 28 – October 1, 2011 to present its sustainably produced wide range of papers for labelling and siliconizing. UPM, one of the world's leading paper producers, is a leading supplier of both face and release base papers.

UPM offers a variety of options for pressure sensitive and conventional labelling. UPM's one side coated, woodfree coated and uncoated face papers are successfully used in self-adhesive laminating, converting, printing and labelling. In base papers the range consists of glassines as well as SCK (supercalendered kraft) and CCK (clay coated kraft) types of release liners, including good solutions for two-sided tapes.

UPM's main message "UPM Label Papers – Solutions for today and tomorrow" indicates UPM’s frontrunner position, innovativeness, forward looking attitude, sustainably produced products and reliable paper supplier position. The global sales network and supply chain ensure that UPM’s customers receive the best quality and reliable and efficient service wherever the need.

"At our stand it is possible to see the results of our continuous research and development work done at our paper mills and in our R&D centres in Finland and China. This work along with continuous improvements done at the mills have been the cornerstones for guaranteeing us a wide range of well performing products for our customers from one making to another," says Mr Jaakko Nikkilä, Vice President, UPM Converters Segment.

He continues: "Labelexpo is the main event for our label papers segment. Many good contacts have been established at Labelexpo in previous years. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss with customers and other industry players about our solutions for today and tomorrow."
