PMP has announced a successful and smooth completion of the replacement and start-up of a new Intelli-Jet V™ hydraulic headbox for Hanke Tissue. The scope of supply covered a new hydraulic headbox, a new fan pump, complete stock approach piping and design services for a stock preparation rebuild.
PMPoland S.A. supplied a single-layer Intelli Jet V™ headbox and installed on the existing fourdrinier machine, PM#1, with a pondside width of 3,500 mm and a design speed of 800 mpm. The main goal of the project is quality improvements with both basis weight and formation. The new headbox will also be designed to allow increasing capacity of the 12,000 tpy by 20% through increasing operating speed from 650 mpm to 800 mpm with a significant improvement of basis weight profile and produced quality tissue.
The project for Hanke Tissue is another step in PMP’s strategy within Poland. PMP supplies complete tissue machines and rebuilds and specializes in hydraulic headboxes. Therefore successful and smooth start-up of the new hydraulic headbox that brought satisfaction both Hanke Tissue, as well as PMPoland S.A., is a key role. It is also an important milestone of building partnership relationships for the future cooperation.
