Guerrilla installations

To celebrate five years of the Levis Ambiance Mix Collection, the famous Belgian paint brand has come up with a spectacular stunt. An XXL Levis paint pot was mounted on an existing lamppost eight metres above the ground, so it appears to be floating. The post itself was painted red, creating a stream of paint that looks like it is colouring the car park.

The guerrilla stunt supports five years of the Ambiance Mix Collection, which is famous for the new, inspiring themes it presents twice a year with 18 corresponding colours that are meant to capture the spirit of the times. Five years means that a total of 180 ‘new’ colours have been introduced by the Ambiance Mix. The aim of these theme collections is to give people ideas to try out for themselves at home and to show which tints can be combined with each other. As a result, the guerrilla stunt itself is said to fit the Ambiance Mix philosophy perfectly: daring, innovative and colourful.

This stunt was dreamed up and put into practice by the Belgian firm King George – the Mad Agency for Communication that specialises in ‘out of the box’ communication (PR, Guerrilla & Brand Communication) for a number of top design companies.
