Caraustar raises prices on clay coated grades

Caraustar Industries, Inc. announced recently that due to increasing costs, especially in chemicals, fiber, and freight, there will be a $40 per ton price increase effective with shipments on and after Sept. 12, 2011 for all clay coated grades from Caraustar’s Tama Mill. There will be an additional increase in existing upcharges for 16pt and 30pt calipers.
