Seras announces that key investment during 2025 in company’s Tilbury site in the UK has led to improved efficiencies at an operational level across the entire processing operation during 2026.
During a temporary shutdown of the Seras Tilbury site in late 2025, the company used the opportunity to invest heavily in the Tilbury site operations and the upgrades included:
- New shredding equipment
- New screw conveyor
- Other parts of the line have been refurbished
The improvements have delivered enhanced fuel quality, increased reliability, shorter downtime, and greater fuel output for power plant customers. Since the facility began operations, Seras has processed over 1.6 million tonnes of grade C waste wood.
Seras provides waste management services to more than 350 customers across the UK.
