Sofa inspired by everyday life

The Swedish company Källemo presented several news at this year's Stockholm Furniture Fair. Among them was the sofa Mamalock by Anna Kraitz.

The designer said the following about her work:

- As a designer you often get the question: where do you get your ideas? My answer is simple: I draw inspiration from my everyday life. Bulbs may get braids, vases might get buttons, benches strutt away on short legs and around the coffee table a belt has been tightened so that the table surface will cease to grow. Fairytale and imagination. Rituals and habits. Thoughts about large and small. These are the thoughts that I cross with the practical, and with thoughts on design, materials and how things work.
